A green thumb 90yrs in the making

It's still all good in the hood

Wichita's 4th Generation garden center started as a small fruit & vegetable stand in the 1920s on the outskirts of town at the corner of Douglas and West street in Wichita, KS. As the business grew, Harold Johnson, with his father Orie, bought 5 acres of land on west 13th street, and opened Johnson's Garden Center. This location is still operating today!

Fast forward a half century years. Wichita's favorite hometown garden center is still serving gardeners all over Kansas for over 90 years. We are a fourth generation family owned business, and are committed to providing quality products and excellent service to our customers.

We can't Wait to see what the next 60 years have in store for us.
